Gathering momentum!

Posted by cjkrebs on March 14, 2012

While we haven’t posted recently, a lot has happened with Hens for Houston in the past month.

We’ve been meeting with folks across the city, gathering support from chicken-enthusiasts. Our website is growing. We now have a Facebook page! There is even a link to a one-page flier on the Why Hens? page, for you to send to your friends. Don’t forget to let us know you’re interested by signing our Get Involved form on the Home page.

Things to look forward to soon:

-A finished FAQ page, to answer all of your questions about Why Hens? for Houston

-Petitions! both online and at local feed stores

We’re looking for help researching city council members, gathering support, and spreading the word! WE ESPECIALLY WILL NEED HELP WRITING THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE … so make sure you’ve let us know of your interest today! Sign up on the Home page!
